Concept Car Mazda Takeri
Concept car Mazda Takeri will become the second auto of the Japanese company for which all the developments including new auto platform, body and gear of SkyActive technologies will be used. The first automobile made in this style with SkyActive technologies is the crossover CX-5 that has the same design including big radiator grille.
Engine Mazda Takeri
A prototype of the next generation Mazda 6 will be equipped with 2.2 litre turbodiesel SKYACTIV-D, "stop-start" system, producing 175 hp, regenerative braking system which is specific for the fact that this auto is not a hybrid - it works on a diesel engine. The system is new, it converts kinetic energy from braking into electrical energy. This energy is accumulated in the capacitor and used for electrical equipment supply. By that fuel consumption decreases and gives more capacity to the engine.
